Additionally, the Diridon Train Station is close by, and public transportation is readily available. Rose Garden is a commuter-friendly region allowing you to navigate the city with less stress.

Despite being somewhat close to Downtown San Jose, The Rose Garden does not entertain those bustling city vibes. The Rose Garden area is clean, serene, and a beautifully manicured residential area. Making a move to the Rose Garden region would certainly be a decision you’d cherish for life.

The Rose Garden is a good place to live in California for parents with school aged children.  Both the public and private schools here are rated above average and sit adjacent to one another.

Trace Elementary School, Luther Burbank Elementary and St. Martin of Tours Catholic School are popular elementary schools. Herbert Hoover Middle School for middle school education. Abraham Lincoln High School and Bellarine College Preparatory are excellent for high school students.

Great places to visit are The San Jose Municipal Rose Garden, Rosicrucian Egyptian Museum, Rosicrucian Park, Historic Hoover Theatre, and Winchester Mystery House. Additionally, there are art galleries, museums, music, history, tech tours, shopping, recreation, and much more.

The Rose Garden area has large lot sizes, the yards are all well-kept, sidewalks are plenty, safe and protected, plus it is a pet-friendly region. Homes are unique, streets are wide, trees are mature, and it is not a cookie-cutter neighborhood. Nightlife has limited options, more towards downtown San Jose and surrounding areas. Restaurants and grocery stores are in abundance, many within walking distance.

Schools are great, and there are families with young children, all having an excellent sense of community. Shopping and entertainment will not disappoint as you have many options like Santana Row and Westfield Valley Fair Shopping Mall. For fitness, there are yoga studios, gyms, karate, taekwondo, and more, plus O’Connor Hospital is close by.

Finally, the availability of jobs is good and significant industries include healthcare, utilities, and waste management services.
