Your home inspector will assess all aspects of the home, inside and out. That includes:

- Siding and façades
- Interior walls
- The home’s structure
- Plumbing and electrical systems
Although home inspections are optional, having a professional inspect the house can uncover any unknown issues lurking under the surface that might become serious (and expensive) issues for you in the future — think foundation cracks, dangerous wiring or ancient plumbing.
Once you get a buyer inspection report, you can use it in negotiations. For example, you can ask the seller to make price concessions in relation to the cost of repairs.
