You’ve signed on the dotted line and are now officially a homeowner – and the last thing to do is move in. Check out these tips to make your move easier:
- Get organized. Moving day is exciting, but planning the move can be time-consuming (and maybe even a little stressful). It’s a good idea to get organized and start packing your stuff early in the home buying process.
- Be prepared for the financial side of moving. No matter which way you look at it, moving is expensive. Therefore, be prepared and have a budget plan in place. Make sure you collect quotes from different professional movers and schedule a truck as soon as possible.
- Remember to update your address and switch utilities to your new home.
